DJ Nkyp (Martin Soukup)
DJ Nkyp is an experienced Prague-based DJ whose real name is Martin Soukup. He has been active on the DJ scene since the mid-2010s – his mixes on SoundCloud date back to 2015. His journey as a DJ was gradual, with a breakthrough performance occurring around 2018–2019 in smaller Prague clubs. In March 2019, he performed at the Minimax Night at Pulse 22 club in Prague's Old Town.
Nkyp's style is very versatile – in his sets, he blends melodic house, progressive and techno, always keeping the audience's mood in mind. In 2022, he joined the livestream project MAFASU as a guest, later becoming one of the three main members of We Come One.
He also organizes his own events – such as "Nkyp & Friends" (2020) and a big birthday party on September 1, 2023, at Vlkov 26. He frequently performs under the Music Please platform, and his set from Orchestrion 2023 has gained over 1,300 views on the Music Please TV YouTube channel.
